The Commonwealth of Learning in collaboration with the Belize Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture is pleased to share with you a “Call for nomination to the COL Coursera Workforce Recovery Programme”. This programme will offer many individuals who have lost their jobs, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, to be reskilled through UNLIMITED and FREE access to 3,800 courses designed to skill and reskill citizens of Commonwealth Member States. Individuals will have the opportunity to be trained by highly reputed professors and mentors from well recognised universities and institutions around the world.
Please find attached brochure with additional information. You can visit https://www.coursera.org/ to see the list of courses available.
Belize received an opportunity for 1000 licenses spaces (no cost to Belizeans) and to date Belize has only submitted 225 names. Once you are listed under Belize’s licensed spaces, you can take the courses at no charge. If you are not listed, then you will be liable to take on the cost. Please share this information with your colleagues and employees who you believe may benefit from this free programme.
