The University of the West Indies, Open Campus, Belize is pleased to present the second Public Lecture for the year 2021. Our presenter will be Prof. Wellington Ramos (History and Political Science) his lecture will be “Garifuna History: Part 1 – Pre-Colonization; Part 2 – Garifuna Resistance to Colonization; Part 3 – Forced Removal from St. Vincent”.  This event will be streamed live Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 6:00 pm (8:00 pm EC Time, 7:00 pm Jamaica Time).  Everyone is invited to attend virtually as it is open to public viewing and participation.
