Invitation to the Launching of Belize Open Government Action Plan, June 24th
The Transformation to an Open Public Administration in Belize project in coordination with the Belize Open Government Steering Committee invites you to participate in the launching session of the co-creation phase of the Belize Open Government Action Plan .
This opening session is intended to initiate a public discussion to identify areas of opportunity to utilize open government in pursuing new policies, improved government services, innovative transparency efforts, or alike. This public consultation will be conducted through online breakout sessions where all participants will have the opportunity to contribute to that process.

It comes as a subsequent session to the series of training webinars on Open Government provided by OAS and The Trust for the Americas in February 2020, as part of the Transformation to an Open Public Administration in Belize project that has been adjusted to address the covid-19 challenges through the use of open government tools and concepts.
The opening session of the Belize Open Government Action Plan will be facilitated by the Organization of the American States (OAS) in collaboration with The Trust for the Americas who will explain the co-creation process along with Open Government Partnership (OGP) speakers, and will be inaugurated by Mr. Michael Singh, Advisor, e-Governance and Digital Transformation at the Office of the Prime Minister.
