Introduction to the course
Violence and harassment in the world of work is a threat to the dignity, safety, health and well-being of all, affecting not only workers and employers, but also their families, communities, economies and society at large. During the virtual Seminar, the phenomenon of violence and harassment in the world of work will be analyzed through the lens of the new ILO Violence and Harassment Convention, 2019 (No. 190) and its Recommendation (No. 206). After reviewing the fundamentals of the new international standards, the virtual Seminar will include the possibility to deepen some key technical aspects related to the topic through the design of dedicated eLearning tracks carried out in parallel, but differentiated by language, which will allow participants of each group to better understand the concepts with practical activities.
