Event Description

The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) invites you to the official launching of the “Growing Safe Produce” Program, organized by IICA’s Agricultural Health, Food Safety and Quality (AHFS) Program, in collaboration with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

“Growing Safe Produce” is a supplemental training program developed jointly by IICA and the FDA, with the goal of improving producers’ FSMA Produce Safety Rule knowledge and understanding. This event will take place on Friday, June 7, 2024, starting at 9:00 a.m. Central America / 10:00 a.m. Bahamas, Haiti and Jamaica / 11:00 a.m. Eastern Caribbean and Guyana / 12:00 p.m. Suriname, on the Zoom platform.

The event is free, virtual, open to the public, with a capacity of 1000 participants, and requires prior registration which will be open until the start of the event.
