The Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry supports the Ministry of Health and Wellness and the country’s Covid-19 Vaccination initiative.
Please share the following information with your staff, friends and families.
Vaccinations are now available for everyone under the following age category:
- A Child – Pfizer vaccine – 12 – 17 years
- An Adult – Oxford AstraZeneca & Sinopharm vaccines – 18 years & over
Call your nearest Ministry of Health and Wellness facility (Community Hospital or Polyclinic) for information on the next location that these will be issued. No appointment needed.
Requirements for a child:
- The child must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian
- Provide a valid Social Security Card or Passport
- Have a good/heavy breakfast/meal before getting the vaccine
- Advise Health Officials of any allergies or underlying conditions before taking the vaccine.
Requirements for an Adult:
- Provide a valid Social Security Card or Passport
- Have a good/heavy breakfast/meal before getting the vaccine

The Ministry of Health and Wellness also advises that even after getting vaccinated, persons are to continue wearing a face mask properly in public, maintain consistent physical distancing, avoid social gatherings, and wash and sanitize hands often.
