ABOUT DIGI: Digi owns and operates an extensive telecommunications network throughout the country of Belize in wireline, wireless and data services. The company offers and uses a wide range of products and technologies that include fixed line telephone service, fixed wireless, national and international calling services, prepaid services, an advanced LTE mobile network, international voice, and data roaming, Fiber internet and data services.
ABOUT ROLE: The Marketing Manager leads and oversees marketing operations across B2C, B2B, DigiTV, Digi Wallet, PR, Sponsorships & CSR, Branding and Digital Marketing. This role focuses on driving customer engagement, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing marketing strategies to achieve business growth. The ideal candidate must possess a proven track record of leadership, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making. This position reports to the General Manager- Marketing.
STANDARD JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field would be an asset.
- Fluency in English and Spanish would be an asset.
- Eight (8) years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Tableau).
- Expertise in digital marketing platforms, content management systems, and CRM tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer focused.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to enhance customer acquisition, retention and lead generation for B2C and B2B audiences overseeing all aspects of marketing operations, including content creation, PR campaigns, sponsorship activations, CSR initiatives, branding and digital marketing programs, setting clear KPIs and goals for each marketing function to measure effectiveness and ROI areas of opportunity and individual developmental needs.
Public Relations, Digital & Content Marketing
- Analyse engagement metrics across all marketing channels to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement, driving innovative campaigns using SEO, SEM, social media, and analytics tools. Oversee the creation of compelling, on-brand content that engages target audiences and drives traffic. Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content tailored to target audiences across all platforms.
Sponsorship and CSR Initiatives
- Align sponsorships and CSR initiatives with brand values and create community impact that strengthens the company’s reputation, aligning CSR and sponsorship initiatives with brand values and target audiences.
Go-To-Market (GTM)
- Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for new product launches, services, and promotional campaigns across B2C and B2B markets. Identify target audiences, craft value propositions, and define marketing channels to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
Customer Engagement and Analytics
- Measure and optimize marketing performance, leveraging data insights to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
