The company offers and uses a wide range of products and technologies that include fixed line telephone service, fixed wireless, national and international calling services, prepaid services, an advanced LTE mobile network, international voice, and data roaming, Fiber internet and data services.

ABOUT ROLE: The Sr. Solutions Manager is a strategic and critical role that manages the full portfolio of existing products and services for the B2C market segment by identifying potential product revamps or enhancements; conduct market research; generating product performance reports; manages product roadmap; and determines process and requirements enhancements, promotions, pricing, and the development of marketing strategies. They also facilitate inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and product schedules. The Sr. Consumer Solutions Manager needs to have an entrepreneurial mindset who can proactively explore new innovations, visit and engage in country-wide visits to identify opportunities for expansion to drive product development and changes. This position reports to the General Manager – Marketing.

STANDARD JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting would be an asset

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Product Management

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy for residential services that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.
  2. Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the consumer product line.
  3. Lead, define, represent, and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders.
  4. Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action.
  5. Drive product analytics to understand feature usage, comprehension, and optimization.
  6. Maximize product margins and profitability.
  7. Protect core revenue streams and sustain revenue growth.

Market Intelligence, Reporting and Analysis

  1. Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends and competitive landscape dynamics.
  2. Utilize market intelligence to inform product positioning, pricing strategies and promotional efforts.
  3. Oversees the creation of detailed reports on product performance, customer insights and revenue contribution.
  4. Analyzes customer data and behavior to inform decision-making and product management.

Revenue Management

  1. Support with the execution of the company’s Annual Budget.
  2. Support with the development of the product roadmap and management of promotions, products, and services to drive profitability.
  3. Closely monitor the performance of all Fixed & Broadband products and services, including promotional offers, to ensure a positive revenue impact. Provide actionable insights and aligning them with the company’s internal strategic and commercial goals.

Customer Segmentation

  1. Segments the customer base effectively to tailor products and marketing strategies that enhance engagement and satisfaction.
  2. Analyze customer feedback and usage patterns to inform product improvements and drive customer-centric innovation.

Forecasting

  1. Responsible for the Revenue forecast for all products being managed. Coaches and develops direct reports/portfolio managers to develop forecasts to support the overall strategy and revenue goals of the company. Is also responsible for the Product roadmap for all consumer products.
  2. Responsible for the Company’s Monthly Forecasting exercise – ensuring that timely and accurate reforecasts are submitted to the Finance department. Actionable plans and supporting analytics are a must.
  3. Responsible for Business Case Model & Financial impacts for product enhancements, price changes and network expansions.

Leadership

  1. Leads and keeps the team motivated to achieve the operational and administrative objectives of the department. Manages performance, solves problems and cares for the health, safety, and the general welfare of the team.
  2. Responsible for communicating the strategy of the department and guiding the team towards achieving the targets. Encourages success, resolves conflict, manages time and resource priority.
  3. Act as the primary advocate for the product portfolio within the organization.
  4. Partner with senior leadership to align on goals and strategic priorities.

Communication Skills

  1. Strategic Communication Skills from message development and Key message alignment with Marketing team.
  2. Be well versed in the features, benefits and differentiators of the products/services being managed, understanding industry trends and competitor offerings to position products effectively when communicating.
  3. Communicate effectively during live events, webinars, or digital interviews.
