Job Summary:

  • The person filling this post has the general responsibility to perform the functions conferred upon him as such, by the Economic Development Council Act or any other law. The Executive Director heads the Secretariat of the Council, and in that capacity is required to provide technical and other support to the Council to better enable the Council to perform its functions, as outlined in the Act. The Executive Director oversees the EDC’s strategic vision and leading the business decisions to drive successful outcomes. The Director’s overarching duty is to collaborate with the EDC in implementing its strategic plans and to manage relationships with public and private sector stakeholders.
