Statistical Institute of Belize: Trade Release for the month of December 2022
IMPORTS UP 10.3%, DOMESTIC EXPORTS DOWN 29% IN DECEMBER 2022
IMPORTS:
Belize’s total merchandise imports for the month of December 2022 were valued at $253.3 million. This represented an increase of 10.3 percent or $23.7 million from imports of December 2021, which were valued at $229.6 million.
DOMESTIC EXPORTS:
Total domestic exports for December 2022 amounted to $26.3 million, down by 29 percent or $10.7 million when compared to exports for December 2021, which were valued at $37 million.
