Invitation to the Export Competitiveness Forum

You are hereby invited to the Export Competitiveness Forum 2022 to be held on May 26, 2022 at the Belize Biltmore Plaza (Caribbean Tires Showroom) in Belize City  from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. With support from the Commonwealth Secretariat, Belize’s private and public sectors will collaborate to develop a roadmap detailing new approaches to increased export competitiveness by focusing on the following pillars;

1. New product and services development
2. New market development and export promotion
3. Technology adoption- incl. IT-enabled processes, agritech, digitalization and ECommerce
4. Standards and certification
5. Branding incl. collective/ nation branding
6. Export financing

The agenda for the day includes presentations and discussions on;

• The overall project objectives presented by the Commonwealth Secretariat
• Belize’s National Competitiveness Performance
• The Export Competitiveness RoadMap
• Next steps as Belize’s improves its export competitiveness
